Lars-Mikkel Bjørge (NOR) shone on the alpine skiing stage at the 2003 Winter EYOF, claiming a podium spot in every boy’s event. He took gold in the slalom and silver in both the giant slalom and Super-G. His twin brother, Mons Bjørge, also made an impressive mark, winning gold in the giant slalom and bronze in the slalom, highlighting the siblings’ exceptional talent in skiing.
The Russian pair of Alexandre Popov and Arina Ushakova delivered an incredible performance in the mixed pairs figure skating final, earning the gold medal. In ice dancing, their compatriots Arkadi Sergeev and Natalia Mikhailova also claimed gold with a spectacular routine, showcasing Russia’s dominance on the ice rink at the event.
Nordic combined skier Jason Lamy-Chappuis, competing for France at the 2003 Winter EYOF, won gold in the boy’s individual K90 event and supported the French team in securing silver in the team competition, marking a standout performance for both him and his teammates.
