In the girls’ basketball final, the Czech team triumphed over the Belgian squad after a long and hard-fought duel. Their perseverance and teamwork earned them the gold medal in a thrilling conclusion to the tournament.
The boys’ volleyball final featured a heated competition between Poland and Bulgaria, two nations renowned for their excellence in the sport. Poland emerged victorious, decisively winning in three sets with scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-17, claiming the gold medal.
Spanish swimmer Cesar Castro Valle set a new meet record in the 1500m freestyle at EYOF 2015, finishing with a remarkable time of 15:24.02 seconds. His outstanding performance not only earned him the gold medal but also established a new benchmark for future competitions.

ABOUT TBILISI 2015

Tbilisi, Georgia, hosted the 2015 EYOF, welcoming approximately 3300 athletes from 50 European countries. Athletes competed in 9 sports, including artistic gymnastics, wrestling, swimming, and basketball. An exceptional aspect of this edition was the vibrant cultural programs and events showcasing Georgia’s rich history and heritage. The festival highlighted the fusion of sports excellence with cultural celebration, offering participants and spectators a unique experience.
